How does at-home testing compare to testing at a clinic?
Your sample is processed by the same type of andrology lab a fertility clinic would use — the difference is you collect it at home instead of in a clinic room, and we handle shipping logistics so the sample stays viable in transit.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Kits ship in plain, unbranded packaging, and your results are only accessible to you through your secure online account.
How long can a frozen sample be stored?
Properly cryopreserved samples can be stored for many years. Your storage plan keeps your sample monitored and accessible for as long as you keep it active.
What if my results fall outside the typical range?
Your report includes reference ranges so you know what's typical. We recommend sharing your results with a doctor or fertility specialist, who can advise on next steps for your specific situation.
Is this a regulated medical or diagnostic test?
No. FjogardReserve kits are for informational and educational purposes only — they are not FDA-cleared or -approved, not processed in a CLIA-certified clinical diagnostic lab, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Does sex selection actually work?
Sperm sorting shifts the probability toward the chromosome type you're hoping for — it does not guarantee an outcome. It's also worth understanding this is separate from ordinary fertility odds: a single insemination cycle, sorted or not, frequently doesn't result in pregnancy at all, the same as it would with an unsorted sample. Most customers should expect to need more than one attempt. If you do get pregnant and the outcome isn't the sex you were hoping for, we'll refund your sex selection fee — that covers the sex outcome specifically, not whether a given cycle results in pregnancy.

If your kit arrives damaged or your sample is lost in transit before analysis, we'll send a free replacement kit or issue a full refund.
